The JAMAICAN ONE MAN BAND AKA SUNSHINE BAND of Chicago, IL has been performing the music of his homeland throughout the Midwest for over 15 years. This self-taught musician/entertainer plays two keyboards with built-in drum machines and steel drum sounds which are complimented by professional audio equipments. His expert manipulation of these instruments along with his electrifying singing produces the most exotic steel band and reggae performance.

His Transition to the SUNSHINE BAND happened in August of 2010. This welcomed progression has added female beauty talent and colorful flair to the presentation.

They have a very extensive repertoire, comprising hundreds of reggae, calypso, soca, Latin, Hawaiian and American songs along with many fan favorites from his three CDs.

The sunshine band is a very flexible and perceptive group. Their ability to read and please the audience is phenomenal. They perform light steel drum songs or delicate acoustic tunes for background music at cocktail reception and dinner event. When it’s party time, they can turn on the party lights, turn up the volume, pump up the energy and have the crowd singing and dancing up a storm. Spontaneous audience participation is the highlight of this island act.

Their sunny smiles, harmonious singing and beautiful rhythmic movements are very contagious. They’ll have the audience in the island vibes shouting: “Yeh Mon!!”... singing: “Who let The Dogs Out?” and “Hot Hot Hot,” ….doing the “Limbo”…… line-dancing to the Electric Slide, Cha Cha Slide, Macarena, Cupid Shuffle, Dollar Wine and having the greatest time.
